The SENIM Conference will be held at Oasis Place, a newly launched multidisciplinary, integrated intervention services centre for children with autism, ADHD and various learning challenges. Oasis Place intervention services includes psychology, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, nutrition and more all under 1 roof.
“Oasis Place was born from our own experience and provides just as its name suggests – an oasis where families of learning-different individuals can come to seek support, understanding and professional expertise.”
Oasis Place is co-founded by my friends Mr Law Cheok Maan and Dr Choy Sook Kuen who are also parents of a son with autism. They are also the brilliant minds who brought us the fully inclusive, Montessori preschool, Tree Top House in Kuala Lumpur. I love and admire their holistic approach to autism, by incorporating biomedical intervention, nutritional therapy, Relationship Development Intervention® (RDI), inclusion, and many more. Their son is now thriving and living his fullest potential, his autism is by and large unnoticeable to the untrained eye.
